Poland, early 1990’ies. The Russian power is waning, the solidarity movement (“Solidarność”) calls for strikes to make a point. The film plays in a time that the Russians build up pressure to break the impasse. We mostly follow Janek, the son of a marine officer. Janek and his friend Kazik share the anti-Communist sympathies and portray them in their punk music. Unfortunately rebellion would have been a lot easier if not everything was connected… “All That I Love”, the translation of the band-name and the film-title, both inspire and endanger not only Janek and Kazik.
The film is a rather tame drama, but a nice peak into a transition period in Polish politics with a magnifying glass on a small rural community.
