Disappointed! I had wanted to see this film for a while. Somehow I thought that I could not get it through my regular channels and bought a copy from abroad. The film gets good critics and a remake (by the original director) now plays in the cinemas (over here). Well, “13 Tzameti” is a rather boring thriller that lacks the tension that is promised. A young man stumbles upon the wrong kind of game, a brutal gambling game, and as a player, not as the gambler, not the role you would prefer. The scenes are not very impressing, the end is not surprising, but well done. Overall unconvincing, quite like a similar thriller.
