A Dutch thriller which title translates as “Black Water”, but that got the international title “Two Eyes Staring”. A young family inherits a gigantic house in Belgium which harbors dark memories and something else. A not too original story, but the film itself is not so bad. The atmosphere is good, the camera-work nice and the acting too. The only thing is that ‘explanatory’ closing scene which should have been left out.
